A United States of America based Foundaton, Mr. Kola & Bose Adeloye Foundation has sent relief materials to not less 50 vulnerable persons within the three quarters of Ugbogbo, Utua and Ufa in Igarra, headquarters of Akoko-Edo local government area.
Mr. Samuel Oboro, the personal aide of Barr. Nelson Kola Adeloye who anchored the distribution of the relief said that the kind-heartedness of his principal and his wife was a natural part of who they are; always believing that the best way a society can be smooth is for all to be well. This they said made them strip themselves of their comfort to put smiles on the faces of the people.
Speaking from his base in the US, Adeloye said: “The effects of the unceremonious global lockdown which has brought the economies of nations to their knees are not a respecter of sentiments; and, therefore, it would be foolish of anyone or any organization to bow to any form of sentiments in responding to the crying of the people.”
Some beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Foundation for choosing to rekindle their hope for a better future.
A beneficiary, Mrs Abiodun Ukonga said “I am more than grateful at the uncommon magnanimity of Barr. Kola Adeloye and his wife for choosing to remember me at this crucial period when famine is already knocking at the door. May the Lord continue to bless them and may they be rewarded in Jesus’ name”.
May the good Lord Jesus Christ continue to uplift the Adeloyes for this gesture.
